Important Update on Cyber Incident at Nissan Finance Motor Acceptance

The recent cyber incident at Nissan Finance Motor Acceptance has resulted in disruption to our systems, impacting the normal functioning of our operations. As a precautionary measure, we recommend that customers speak directly to their local dealerships for all vehicle and servicing queries. Although some dealer systems may be affected, local dealerships are still operational.

During the investigation, we advise customers to be vigilant across their accounts, keeping an eye out for any unusual or scam activities. We have also notified the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the New Zealand National Cyber Security Centre.

Our global incident response team is working closely with relevant stakeholders to determine the extent of the incident and whether any personal information has been accessed. We want to assure customers that the systems outage will not negatively impact the credit rating of our Skyline Car Finance customers.

Regarding Direct Debit payments, we will contact customers who had a payment due between December 5th and 14th, 2023, with two business days' notice prior to debiting their account. All scheduled customer Direct Debit payments due from December 15th onwards will be processed according to the terms of your Loan Agreement.
